2011 New Years greetings to partners and friends of IMI

phil_portrait

I want to personally encourage you this year to take time to daily cultivate times of prayer and conversation with the Lord. Testings of finance, relationships and trust in the Lord will increase this year. Do not get discouraged or depressed. We need extra oil for our lamps. Be filled with the Spirit, then you will have strength in the hard times.
Recently I was asked to give New Year’s greeting to a church in Miami Beach, Florida which I think is a message for all of us.

Ephesians 1:15-19
"For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and His incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of His mighty strength…"

Many are starting a fast this year.
-Fast with purpose.
-Fast and Pray.

Key to 2011 is Trust!
-Trust Him in all things this year.
-Tell the Lord you love Him - out loud.
-There will be many opportunities to trust the Lord.

Develop and cultivate pressing into the Lord

Revelation 4:1
"After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in Heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.”

Notice there is:
-A door standing open in heaven.
-A voice saying, "Come up here".

Key points:
-Invitation.
-In the Holy Spirit.
-Immediately.

2011 is the year of personal REVELATION
-Revelation of the Lord.
-Revelation of things to come.

Shalom and many blessings to you all,
